What is MysterSmith?

My name is Benke Smith, I'm a magic app developer from Hungary, and the creator of the "Smith" apps. The initial idea of MysterSmith was born in May 2023. As the PeekSmith app was evolving, I’ve added many features that were already beyond the app’s initial purpose (to be a companion app for the PeekSmith devices). I believed it was time for a brand new app that can offer everything the PeekSmith app does, and many-many more (including proper routine management, unique routines, and a much wider support of magic hardware). I’ve always planned to introduce a subscription system at some point, and MysterSmith seemed to be the right  tool for this.

In February 2025 the MysterSmith app started as an evolved version of the PeekSmith app, which means it offered all the features that the PeekSmith app had (except firmware updates for Electricks hardware), and all add-ons purchased for the PeekSmith app continued working in MysterSmith the same way. Since then I've added new features and routines gradually, based on user requests and priorities. However, you will still need the PeekSmith app for firmware updates, even if you "switch" to MysterSmith. Also some exclusive features (like advanced Atom 2 functions) are only added to the PeekSmith app, which is now maintained by Electricks.

While most of the new features/routines are also available as a one-time purchase, the subscription models offer many-many more, especially for those who perform regularly. While the MINI plan will be more than enough for most hobby-magicians, there are also BASIC and PREMIUM plans available, intended for professional magicians.
